long time no see

OH MY GOODNESS! IT HAS BEEN FOREVER SINCE I LAST BLOGGED!!!! *twitch twitch* how did this happen? well, let's catch up! summer is over:( school is in:( and my computer broke again:( yeahhh....lots of frownie faces....

anyhoo, enough of depression. sooo, halloween? funess. My sister and I passed out candy to the kids. the weird thing though was that there was a lot of babies that weren't old enough to trick or treat and the parents would get candy for them. It was almost like the parents were trick or treating. (smart parents...) The kids were so adorable!!! I saw a panda, a snow princess, plenty of transformers, two monkies, indiana jones, and a ghoust. Okay, so this little girl comes up to me and my sister. Keep in mind we were sitting on the front porch that was highly decorated with lit up ghousts and pumpkins. The little girl points at the ghoust and is like "ghoust ghoust GHOUST:))" It was adorable. She even walked away without asking for candy. I guess she liked poking our decorations better. yeah, but it was adorable. Speaking of, I volunteer at my church with the little kids and when they were doing their crafts (they were making crowns) this one kid was talking about how he has kissed people before. this is a quote "I've kissed a BOY before!" All the little children were amazed:D ahhh, I love kids. they say such silly things XD

Nice title huh? Well, that is what I am :D A BOOKWORM! I am going to dedicated this whole blog to fantasticle books that I have read and enjoyed so much and that I think that everyone else should join in on XD

Anyhoo, I have recently (when I say recently I mean yesterday) finished a book called ELSEWHERE by Gabrielle Zevin. She sounds like a really nice author! *read the interview on the back and you will see. The book is about a girl named Liz who dies in a biking accident and is sent to Elsewhere where it is almost like Earth except everyone is dead and ages backwards. It has romance as well for all you lover girls/guys :D It is a pretty quick read. I read it in two days. ( I started at 11:00ish pm on the first day! It may be quick but it is good stuff !!!

Also, during the school year I read a book called KISSED BY AN ANGEL by Elizabeth Chandler. This book is about a girl named Ivy whoe boyfriend named Tristan dies and he comes back as her guardian angel to protect her from being killed like him. This is a really long and good book. It is divided into three different books within this novel, so the page numbers get confusing, but no big deal. I really liked this book A LOT. I couldn't put it down.

Summer is here AT LAST!

YAY Summer has finally arrived! I never thought it would come. The year went by pretty speedily though. My last week of school was pretty stupid. We had finals the whole week and just sat around. Some people were exempted from certain exams, so we just sat in silence for almost 2 HOURS! It was crazy. My last day of school, I had choir and computer class. We played cards in choir. (which I sucked at! even though I won in German class) I took pictures, because I am a photo nerd :D At lunch, we played scrabble. (I know...we are such nerds !!!) In computer we watched Jumanji which is one of my personal favorites! Then I rode the bus. The last bus ride of the year :( It's sort of sad, because I won't see any of my bus friends for almost three months. *tear tear* My first week of summer has been awesome. I went to see Wicked on tuesday with four of my friends. It was awesome. One of my favorite broadways! Yesterday we saw Coldplay in concert! IT WAS AMAZING! The lead singer was crazy. Jumping around and such. If you ever go to a concert I advise that you look at the people dancing around you. You are bound to get a laugh. For example, there was this old lady bopping during a slow song in the stair well and security had to move her somewhere else. ROFL!

BTW, as you can see I made a banner at the top of this blog entry. I made that because smileycalit.piczo.com is my piczo, so visit please! GAHHH! I'm soooo happy it is summer and in celebration I am going to posta picture of a funny cat XD

SOOOO, this weekend we had our choir concert. It is called Pop Show, because it is really like a show. You even have to buy tickets and everything. We had to perform two nights in a row. It was exhausting, but fun. The guys choir did "splish splash" and danced around in towels and shower caps. It was hilarious. A few of them even had floaties. ROFL XD There was a lot of good acts like the Song that goes like this from Spamalot && the Alto's Lament (it isn't funny unless you are in choir). funny stuff. There also was a girl who sang Popular from Wicked (which I am going to see in the summer) she sang to a guy who dressed up like a girl. A blonde wig and a dress, the whole shabang! Yeahhh. Felt bad for him :D
I actually heard a lot of songs I did like ie. The Way I Am by Ingrid...something. forgot her last name and Fairytale by Sara Bairelles. Yeah, pretty sure I splet that wrong she also wrote Love Song {{I'm not gonna write you a love song, cause you asked for it cause you need one. you see.....}} Yeppers. Our choir did pretty good if I do say so myself. We had a guy come and *pop* during the lollipop song. He also was "Mr. Lee".
Nothing else has happened this week. All I did today was get red marks on my arms from playing volleyball. I never really enjoyed the sport. It feels like just hitting yourself in the arm a whole bunch of times.

Sorry it's been a while. I had a super boring weekend, but never did get the chance to update XD I just went through my closet. I went through some of my pictures and purged clothes I never where so we can donate them to people in need :D

that 70s show

HI! As you can probably guess....I'm watching that 70's show right now. It's one of my favorites. (I also like NCIS, House, Scrubs, && etc.) anyhoo, I had my solo performance for choir today. I sang Impossible from the movie Cinderella. You know, the one with Brandy and Whitney Houston in it. Well, there isn't a whole bunch to talk about...
In computer we watched Into the Wild (b/c it's animated) We watched a movie in social studies, City of Joy with Patrick Swazye (sp?) It takes place in India (we were studying India) Good movie ;D A little bloody at times though.
Yeah, so today was pretty boring...We got popsicles in Science class though. Our teacher made it into some experiment thing. We had to put into a coffee container with ice, water, and salt and shake i around for twenty minutes. yeah. not too fun. On top of that, ours didn't even freeze. I had to eat well, more like drink my red popsicle. It was good anyway. Nothing can ruin a perfectly good popsicle except for someone coughing on it or something which is really bad with the swine flu going around. All the people at my school are freaking out. Seriously. I think it is bad, but people are overreacting. What about you? got to go finish this episode!

Today was a good day. I read pretty much all through most of my classes (I'm reading the Uglies by Scott somthing...it begins with a W. Westerfield mabye? ) In german (yes, I take german), everyone was prank calling people. They were calling Gamestop and Blockbuster asking for a game called "Battle Toads" which obviously doesn't exist. Apparently, lots of people do it. I just think it's sort of weird I guess. What about you? Ever made a prank call?

stinky stinky stinky

Hey everybody!
SOOOO,today was uber boring. Our school schedule was all messed up today. In gym the boy's locker room was locked, so we couldn't do anything. (not that I enjoy gym; which I don't) They made us sit in the hallway at first but then they sent us to "the athletic classroom" (why gym needs a classroom I will never know) My friend, Mary, refers to it as the "cold room". So, we walk in. It is the ugliest room I have ever stepped foot in. It have plain white wall with no windows. The only thing on the walls is a white board with a drawing of a very weird bird. no really. There is a unconnected tv in the corner and pile of chairs on the side with a dismantled computer next to it. The worse part about it all was there was piles and piles of shoulder pads for football spread all over the room and they don't smell pleasent. I had to spend a WHOLE HOUR in a room with no desks, only chairs, that smelled like a sweatly gym sock. n. o. t. f. u. n. end of story. the rest of the day was good though ;D

Lollipop A Lollipop *POP*

Hola! (spanish for hello, but you probably knew that ;p)I'm listening to Boys with Girlfriends -- MeikoShe is pretty fricken awesome! It's hard to find some original lyrics and a nice catchy tune, but all in all it is a really nice song. It makes me happy. Check it out ;Danyhoo, It rained today. I love the rain It leaves this fresh smell behind that makes me smile. It isn't that great at my school though. You see most of my campus is outside ( I usually sit outside for lunch and absorb the sun XD ) When the rain comes EVERYONE knows. The other day while I was in PE it started pouring and I mean pouring. Lightning, thunder, everything. It was hardcore. We just sat around in the cafeteria (spelling???) the whole class. Speaking of gym, I have it tomorrow then choir :D We are singing four 50's songs (lollipop, sincerly, mr. lee, why do fools fall in love?) which isn't all that bad ,BUUUUTTT they just had to add dance movements. 30 dancing girls + risors = BADDD (they sway with movement sometimes XP) We mostly sway a lot and shake and make dramatic movements. It's sort of funny if you look around. You have the few that are in to it. You have the few that look like they are going to bite someone's head off. Then you have the many who are tripping on their own two feet. What catagory do I fall into? More like a fine line between tripping and not giving a care. I'll probably end up in the second row, because of my lack of enthusiasm. oh well. I need to shower now. I feel icky XD byezzz

Hello everyone! So, this is my first blog XD
You have no idea how long it took me to make this.... First of all, so many people are on blogger so that it is hard to find a descent profile name. Originally, I wanted to name it traumarama. Yeah, taken. Then manonthemoon. What do you know it's taken. It went on like that for a while. After a bit I started just typing random words like lemon (which by the way is taken. it's in chinese or something...). Feline - yeah, this one said "ribble flarg" that's it. Made me laugh a bit. catfood ("Flatulence derived from chinese food is usually attributed to a lack of cats" - quote taken from the blog. no seriously.), rabbitrabbit, 1, pandabutt, oxymoron, felinepassion, flying squirrel, braceface ALL taken. It's okay though. I got a few laughs and decided on ROBOHIPPO (since I love hippos always have since elementary ;p) That's all for now peoples!
